Permaculture Design for farms and landscapes

June 15th & 16th 2019, An Caora Dubh, County Donegal.

A 2 day applied Introduction to Permaculture Design in a farming context. With myself and John Duffy of An Caora Dubh farm in County Donegal.

This course covers core Permaculture theory and practise plus Keyline whole-farm design philosophy and the scale of permanence, integrated system approaches, and how to choose, place and manage agro-forestry, tree systems, water features, livestock, and tertiary farm enterprises.

I’m delighted to be teaming up with John for this one, I spent some time up at An Caora Dubh last winter surveying and mapping the farm, it is a fabulous spot, wild and spacious, John’s vision and design for the farm is making it an essential example of ecological agriculture in practise. I look forward to returning in the summer this time to see how the place is developing after the extensive tree systems are planted.
