Permaculture Design Courses in 2022

Wicklow

Dates for our 2022 residential Permaculture Design course in Carraig Dulra in Wicklow have been scheduled!

We are once again running the PDC as a series of workshops with 2 sessions online and one introductory weekend followed by one full week onsite in Wicklow.

Roscommon

Here in Roscommon, we are half way through our pilot 6 month PDC. And it’s time to say a heartfelt Go raibh maith agat to everyone who has been involved so far! This course been running one day a week since September and will continue through to March after the winter holidays. Together with the participants, tutor contributors and other help I am evaluating the effectiveness of the course, it’s outcomes, and things we might keep the same, or improve if we run it again in 2022.

This course is specifically designed for people based in the local area around Roscommon, Longford, Leitrim. It has a strong local community building, and design focus. We are experimenting with how to best serve the local community, and make the PDC course more accessible.

More to come on plans for 2022 from Spring onwards. Do get in touch if you’d like to be updated and/or if you’re interested in becoming involved in the project as a tutor, student, participant/group, supporter or demonstration site. Collaboration is key, and we’d love to hear from individuals and organizations with potential synergies.
